The MB-1023A from the MB-1020 serie is an LED side marker light from Horpol, designed for use on vehicles within the 12-24V voltage range. This model is suitable for surface mounting and features an angled stem attachment. The light comes in amber coloured light and features a frosted polycarbonate lens, combined with a robust rubber housing for added durability. Thanks to its IP68 rating, this side marker light is fully dust-proof and protected against long-term immersion. The MB-1023A is certified to CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R6-CAT5, allowing installation on public roads in compliance with regulations. The integrated 50cm cable with open wire end ensures flexible connection to a variety of vehicle electronics. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
