Omschrijving

The Horpol MV-4050R from the MV-4000 serie is an LED marker light suitable for 12-24 V systems. Thanks to its compact size of 96x39x66 mm, this surface-mounted unit is widely applicable on various commercial vehicles and 12V semi-trailers. This LED marker light combines the functions: Rear Marker Light and Reflector. The housing and lens are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, offering good resistance to external influences. This version features an open wire end with 25 cm cable length and is suitable for surface mounting. Its IP68 rating and certifications CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R7 support its suitability for long-term use under changing conditions. Plus points of this series: - Slimline design - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform all-round look - Available with dark-look lens or clear lens - Available with mounting bracket for easy mounting

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
