Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-900 serie includes compact LED marker lights with a robust polycarbonate housing and lens. This red LED marker light is designed for universal use on vehicles where clear side or contour marking is required. Its design with open wire end and 50 cm connection cables makes mounting easy to integrate into existing vehicle installations. The marker lights operate stably under a variety of conditions and comply with the certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7. The materials used are resistant to external influences and suitable for long-term use. The product is designed WATERPROOF, which contributes to its durability in wet or dusty environments.

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
