Omschrijving

The Fristom LED marker light MV-1270R from the MV-1200 serie is designed for vehicles with an operating voltage of 12-24 V. This marker light combines the functions: rear marker light and reflector. Thanks to surface mounting and a robust polycarbonate housing, the product is suitable for various applications in transport and commercial vehicles. The red light colour contributes to clear signalling at the rear of the vehicle. With dimensions of 123x80x38 mm and a cable length of 50 cm with a 1.5mm² connector, this LED marker light offers mounting and connection flexibility. The lens is also made of polycarbonate for increased impact resistance. This model meets the certifications CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
