Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-2400 serie includes compact LED marker lights suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. This blue model is designed for flush mounting or surface mounting and comes with an open wire end and a 15 cm connection cable. The marker light is manufactured with a polycarbonate lens and a combination of rubber and polycarbonate housing, which contributes to its impact resistance and durability. The reflector function is integrated to provide passive visibility. Thanks to its CE and ECE-R10 certification, this marker light meets the statutory requirements for electromagnetic compatibility. Its compact dimensions of 120 x 27.7 x 12.8 mm make it suitable for various applications on semi-trailers, trucks or semi-trailers where limited installation space is available. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
