The 129 serie from LED Autolamps is a robust line of LED marker lights, suitable for vehicles running on 12-24 V. This version features red light and combines the functions: rear marker light and reflector. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 129x32x13 mm, this marker light is versatile and can be used on various bodies. The housing is made of ABS and the lens of acrylic, which combined with the IP67 rating offers protection against dust and temporary immersion. The integrated LEDs deliver reliable operation in a variety of weather conditions. This model comes with a 50 cm cable and has an open wire end for direct connection. Surface mounting makes installation easy and efficient. Certification to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 makes these LED marker lights suitable for applications on public roads. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
