The MB-2012RW from Fristom s MB-2000 serie is an LED side marker light suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to surface mounting and the 45 cm long cable with open wire end, integration into various vehicle systems is possible. This version with long angled stem offers visual marking in two light colours: red and white. This makes this side marker light particularly suitable for applications on trucks and semi-trailers where clear contour marking is required. The rubber housing contributes to shock resistance and durability in demanding conditions. The light has one function: rear marker lights. The version complies with CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R148 certification. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
