Omschrijving

The Horpol MB-4631RW is part of the MB-4600 serie and is designed as an LED side marker light for application on commercial vehicles and semi-trailers. This unit provides an orientation function with red and white lights, as rear marker lights. Surface mounting is supported by a rubber housing and an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, suitable for a wide range of applications under various conditions. The light is equipped with a 40 cm cable and an open wire end connection for direct electrical connection. Thanks to its multivoltage operation between 12-24 V, the side marker light is compatible with common vehicle voltages. Protection to IP68 standard ensures full dustproofness and long-term immersion, while the CE, ECE R10 and ECE R7 approvals ensure compliance with relevant regulations. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
