Omschrijving

The TRALERT® Apex series was developed for demanding work environments where high light output must be combined with durable components. This LED work light delivers a light output of 2,929 lm and is suitable for voltages from 9-30 V, including protection against peak voltages of up to 36 V. By using a wide-beam light image and a robust aluminium housing, light distribution remains optimal even under harsh conditions. With a compact size of 74.8 x 76 x 33.8 mm and a 2-PIN's Deutsch connector with 50 cm cable, this LED work light easily integrates into a variety of vehicles. The polycarbonate lens increases impact resistance, while the IP69K rating guarantees maximum protection against water and dust. The light is certified to CE, ECE R10, ECE R148 (R23), and CISPR25 Class 3, making it usable, among other things, as an officially approved R23 LED reversing light. ECE R10 — electromagnetic compatibility for vehicle electronics.

R10 is the reason a cheap LED strip can make a truck's ABS throw faults. It regulates how much electrical noise a lamp is allowed to emit, and how much external interference it has to tolerate. ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
