The Truck-Lite M900 serie is designed as a multifunctional LED rear light for applications on trucks and semi-trailers. This model combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light and reversing light. In addition, this LED rear light offers additional functions such as fog light, rear marker light, side marker light and a reflector. With a housing and lens made of polycarbonate, it can withstand intensive use and harsh weather conditions. The unit features a 7-PIN AMP connector and 5x SuperSeal connectors for efficient integration into your existing wiring harnesses. With certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R148, ECE-R150 and ADR, it meets the relevant requirements for road vehicles. The high protection rating IP69K guarantees resistance to dust and water impact, even with high-pressure cleaning. Vertical mounting allows integration on a variety of vehicle types within a voltage range of 12-24 V. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
