This LED side marker light from Fristom s MB-400 serie is designed for applications on vehicles with an arched or angled mounting stem, where reliable side visibility is required. With red and white light, this model combines rear and front visibility functions. The housing is made of rubber for mechanical flexibility, while the lens is made of polycarbonate for increased impact resistance. This model operates on 12-24 V and comes with 30 cm open wire end for connection. The LED side marker light is certified to CE, ECE R10 and ECE R7. Its compact size of 178x135x45 mm and surface mounting make it suitable for a variety of vehicles, including semi-trailers and commercial vehicles. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps.
