This LED rear light from the TRALERT® VC-2000 serie is designed for use on vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V and is suitable for applications on semi-trailers and semi-trailers. The combination of a robust polycarbonate housing and lens offers good resistance to external influences. Thanks to its IP69K rating, this rear light can withstand intensive cleaning under high pressure. The luminaire complies with various ECE regulations, including ECE-R10, ECE-R3, ECE-R7, ECE-R6, ECE-R38 and ECE-R23. This LED rear light combines the functions: tail light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light and reversing light. This configuration contributes to increased visibility and safety. The surface mount and open wire end with 200cm cable ensure easy installation and connection. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
