Omschrijving

These LED rear lights from the TRALERT® VC-2000 serie are designed for use on vehicles within the 12-24 V voltage range, including semi-trailers and semi-trailers. The unit combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light and reversing light. Thus, the product meets a variety of signalling needs within professional vehicle lighting. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate and offer excellent protection in demanding conditions. Thanks to its IP69K rating, these LED rear lights are fully resistant to dust and high-pressure water jets. The lighting has an integrated reflector and features an 8-PIN bayonet connector for easy installation. With certifications according to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3, ECE-R7, ECE-R6, ECE-R38 and ECE-R23, the product complies with relevant European vehicle lighting directives. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
