Omschrijving

The TRALERT® MB-3060DRWA-SET is a versatile LED broadside lamp set from the MB-3000 series that combines three light functions in one housing, supplied with a 195mm mounting post for maximum height. The lights feature the distinctive five-dot luminous star. Designed in the dark-look with a dark, tinted lens , the set displays a multicolour light image in red, white and amber, uniting multiple functions. The fully waterproof housing (IP68) in black polycarbonate is resistant to rain, dust and high-pressure cleaning, and the operating voltage of 12-24 24V makes the set widely usable. This model features an integrated indicator function: the amber-coloured module flashes synchronously with the vehicle's indicator/flasher signal. The set comes with a Gylle pole (195mm) and 5 metres of connection cable with open wire end. Please note that the set is delivered as individual parts, which is suitable for blind mounting but means that the parts themselves still need to be put together. The MB-3060DRWA-SET has all approval marks (ECE-R10 and ECE-R148) to be used on public roads.

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
