Omschrijving

The TRALERT® MB-3010DRM is an LED side marker light from the MB-3000 series, designed for optimum side visibility and a sleek appearance. The light features the distinctive five-point luminous star. This variant comes in the dark-look: a dark, tinted lens that provides an inconspicuous appearance when switched off, while the light gives a clear red light image when switched on. The fully waterproof housing (IP68) in black polycarbonate is resistant to rain, dust and high-pressure cleaning, and the operating voltage of 12-24 24V makes the light highly versatile. The module is supplied as a separate version with 5 metres of connection cable and open wire end. For a complete solution including mounting pole, please refer to the corresponding set version. The MB-3010DRM has all approval marks (ECE-R10 and ECE-R148) to be used on public roads.

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
