Designed for 12-24 V applications, this marker light from Horpol s MV-3700 serie combines the functions: side indicator and reflector. Thanks to its robust polycarbonate housing and lens, it can withstand intensive use in a variety of weather conditions. Its IP68 rating indicates full dust and water resistance, contributing to reliable operation in demanding environments. With dimensions of 110x30x28 mm and a 50 cm connection cable with open wire end, this LED marker light is easy to integrate on vehicles where visibility is crucial. The amber coloured lens and light colour provide clear signalling on the side of the vehicle. This product complies with CE, ECE R10 and ECE R6-CAT5 guidelines and is suitable for surface mounting. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
