Omschrijving
De VC-4210 uit de VC-4200 serie van Horpol is een LED achterlicht geschikt voor voertuigen met een spanningsbereik van 12–24 V. Dit model is ontworpen voor opbouwmontage en beschikt over een 100 cm lange kabel met open draadeind. De behuizing en lens zijn vervaardigd uit polycarbonaat, wat bijdraagt aan de slagvastheid en waterdichtheid. Dankzij de IP68-classificatie is dit product bestand tegen langdurige onderdompeling en volledig stofdicht. Dit achterlicht combineert de functies: mistlicht en achteruitrijlicht. Daarnaast is er een reflector geïntegreerd. Toepassing is vooral geschikt voor zware omstandigheden waarin een robuuste en compacte LED achterlichtoplossing vereist is. Het product voldoet aan CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R23 en ECE-R38 richtlijnen. R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.
R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
