This white LED marker light from Fristom s MV-1900 serie is designed for universal 12-24V vehicle installations. With a compact design of 129 x 38 x 11.5 mm and surface mounting, this marker light offers a functional solution for vehicles requiring increased visibility and safety. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to the product's impact resistance and durability. Thanks to its reflector function, this marker light contributes to passive visibility, even when stationary. The 50 cm cable with open wire end facilitates electrical connection in a variety of vehicle situations. This marker light also conforms to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 and thus meets the relevant requirements for electromagnetic compatibility and vehicle approval. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
