Omschrijving

This white LED marker light from Horpol s MV-4000 serie is suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. The model comes in a slim, impact-resistant polycarbonate housing and features an integrated reflector. Thanks to its compactness (103x30x35 mm) and surface-mounted design, this marker light can be easily mounted on various vehicle types. The lens is also made of polycarbonate and is available in different versions for visual uniformity around the vehicle. This version has an open wire end and a cable length of 45 cm. The product complies with CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R7 guidelines, and is dust- and waterproof according to protection level IP68. Plus points of this series: - Slimline design - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform all-round look - Available with dark-look lens or clear lens - Available with mounting bracket for easy mounting

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
