Omschrijving

The SIM-SA VC-5500 serie was developed for application on vehicles within the 12-24 V range where reliable LED rear lights are required. This model combines the functions: rear lights, brake lights, indicator lights and dynamic indicator lights. The round housing is in the standard hamburger lamp format and made of impact-resistant PMMA. The lighting features a 5-PINbayonet connector for quick and secure mounting. Thanks to its IP67 rating, this LED rear light is well protected against dust and water. Furthermore, the product complies with various approvals and directives, including CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R6, ECE-R7, D-homologation and ADR for use in freight traffic. With built-in resistance for the indicators and adjustable flashing via dip switches, the system is compatible with a variety of vehicle systems. Plus points of this series: - Available with red-yellow lens, transparent lens and dark-look lens - Standard hamburger lamp format - Dynamic or static indicator lights can be set using dip switches - Equipped with a resistance for the indicators

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
