Omschrijving

The SIM-SA VC-5500 serie includes robustly designed LED rear lights for vehicles in the 12-24 V class. This model, equipped with surface mounting and a 5-PIN bayonet connector, is suitable for a variety of applications within the commercial vehicle fleet and semi-trailer system. The housing and lens are made of PMMA and offer IP67 protection, making the product resistant to dust and temporary immersion. The diameter of ø140 mm and a depth of 86 mm make this rear light compatible with the standard hamburger lamp format. This LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicator light and dynamic indicator light. The product complies with regulations such as CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R6, ECE-R7, D-homologation and ADR, making it also usable under strictly regulated conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
