The Truck-Lite SS/40-serie was developed for applications on vehicles subject to ADR regulations. Suitable for 12-24 V systems, this LED rear light combines the functions: fog light. The version features built-in reflector, allowing it to function as a combined unit and saving space. Thanks to its flush mounting and compact round design (ø155 x 14/43 mm), the model is suitable for integration into a variety of bodies, including semi-trailers and commercial vehicles. The lens and housing are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to its impact-resistant features. The water- and dust-proof construction according to IP69K makes this rear light resistant to intensive cleaning and harsh weather conditions. The 250 cm cable with open wire end offers installation flexibility. The SS/40-serie complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R38 and ADR certifications. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
