Omschrijving

Designed for use on trucks and semi-trailers , the Truck-Lite M900 serie offers a robust solution within the LED rear lights category. This multifunctional rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light and reversing light. The unit also has an integrated reflector, which increases visibility. The rear light features a 7-PIN AMP connector (TL) and five SuperSeal connectors, promoting ease of connection and compatibility with existing cable systems. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate and, combined with the IP69K rating, offer high protection against dust, water and high-pressure cleaning. The mounting is suitable for vertical placement. The M900 serie complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R148, ECE-R150 and ADR directives and is compatible with 12-24 V systems. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
