The Fristom SF62 serie includes compact LED warning lights suitable for applications on vehicles with an on-board system of 12-24 V. Model S10F6200DR is equipped with 6 LEDs and provides visible light signals, complying with the ECE-R65 standard. Thanks to its polycarbonate lens and surface mounting, this LED warning light is suitable for various installations on commercial vehicles and special vehicles. The model features an open wire end with 100 cm connection cable. Its size of 132x28x20 mm allows integration in limited areas. ECE R65 — the rule behind every warning light.

ECE R65 is the European standard that determines whether a rotating or flashing beacon is road-legal. It defines luminous intensity, flash rate, colour and mechanical endurance. Without an R65 mark, a beacon is not allowed on a public road anywhere inside UNECE territory — and insurers routinely refuse claims on vehicles carrying non-approved warning lights.

ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
