Omschrijving

The Fristom W-2200 series was developed for situations where a compact, mobile lighting solution is required. This LED work light is designed as a driving light and equipped with a cigarette lighter connector with a cable length of 300 cm, facilitating quick deployment in vehicles and mobile applications. Thanks to its magnetic mounting, the light is easy to attach and move without fixed installation. With a light output of 2,500 lm at an output of 25 W, this work light is suitable for use within a voltage range of 12-24 V. The aluminium housing and polycarbonate lens offer protection against external influences. Certified to CE and ECE R10, the light meets protection class IP69K, indicating resistance to dust and high-pressure cleaning. ECE R10 — electromagnetic compatibility for vehicle electronics.

R10 is the reason a cheap LED strip can make a truck's ABS throw faults. It regulates how much electrical noise a lamp is allowed to emit, and how much external interference it has to tolerate. ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
