This LED side marker light from Horpol s MB-4900 serie is designed for application on the right side of commercial vehicles and 12V semi-trailers. The light features a combined red and white light colour, with the function of rear marker lights. Thanks to its flexible rubber housing, this side marker light is resistant to mechanical influences. The light is suitable for both 12 V and 24 V systems and features a 50 cm cable with open wire end for direct mounting. The mounting method is surface mounting. The housing is made of robust rubber and has a dimensions of 40 x 110 x 160.3 mm. The side marker light complies with CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R148 guidelines. The "WATERPROOF" classification indicates that this side marker light is suitable for use in damp environments. Horpol offers a 2-year warranty on this component. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
