The WAŚ Sp. z o.o. MB-8201RWA-I from the MB-8000 serie is a LED side marker light suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to the combination of red, white and amber coloured LEDs, this model offers all-round visible signalling to suit a variety of vehicle applications such as trucks, semi-trailers and agricultural vehicles. Surface mount and open wire end with 40 cm cable simplify installation on bodywork or wing. Its dimensions of 185 x 145.5 x 58 mm contribute to clear visibility without taking up excessive space. With an IP68 rating, this LED side marker light is fully dust- and waterproof. The light meets CE, ECE R10 and ECE R148 guidelines, indicating electromagnetic compatibility and lighting approval for use on public roads. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
