The Fristom model VR-340SS is part of the VC-320 serie and is a surface mounting LED rear light suitable for vehicle electrical systems from 12-24 V. This model is designed for applications in a variety of vehicle categories where reliability and clear signal display are required. This LED rear light combines the functions: reversing lights and reflector. The housing is made of rugged ABS with a polycarbonate lens, which combined with the IP68 rating offers a high level of protection against dust and water. The 2-PIN SuperSeal connector and a cable length of 50 cm ensure a reliable electrical connection. Mounting is via surface mounting. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps.
