This LED rear light from the Horpol VC-4100 serie is designed for vehicles where compact design and reliable operation are required. It combines the functions: rear lights, brake lights, indicators and fog lights. Its surface-mounted design makes it suitable for a variety of applications, including semi-trailers, commercial vehicles and agricultural vehicles with a 12V electrical system. The polycarbonate housing and lens offer protection against mechanical influences and contribute to the high impact resistance. With a cable length of 100 cm, it is sufficient for flexible mounting. The IP68 rating guarantees full dust-tightness and protection against long-term immersion, while the certifications CE, ECE R10, ECE R6, ECE R7 and ECE R38 meet European vehicle lighting standards. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
