Omschrijving

The TRALERT® MV-7000 serie is designed for vehicles that require visibility and safety in a variety of conditions. This model features an amber-coloured LED reflector function and is suitable for 24 V systems. Thanks to its robust polycarbonate housing and lens, the MV-7000W is resistant to mechanical stresses and weather conditions.The unit is designed for surface mounting and comes with a 15 cm cable with open wire end. With compact dimensions of 126.6 x 55 x 39.2 mm, this model can be easily placed on various vehicle types. The MV-7000W meets IP67, CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R7 standards, which stands for water- and dust-tight construction and fault-free operation within the specified guidelines.

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
