Omschrijving

This red LED marker light from Horpol s MV-4000 serie is designed for use on vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. The compact surface-mounted model offers a combination of rear marker light and reflector, increasing visibility and safety. Its slim design and polycarbonate housing make it suitable for flush mounting in locations with limited space. The lens is also made of polycarbonate and is resistant to external influences. Its IP68 rating guarantees protection against dust ingress and immersion in water. This LED marker light is equipped with 45cm cable with an open wire end and is certified according to CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R7. Plus points of this series: - Slimline design - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform all-round look - Available with dark-look lens or clear lens - Available with mounting bracket for easy mounting

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
