Omschrijving

This red LED marker light from Fristom s MV-700 serie is designed for vehicle applications where additional visibility is required. The product features the function: rear marker lights. Thanks to its waterproof polycarbonate housing, it is resistant to environmental influences in a variety of conditions. The lens and housing made of impact-resistant polycarbonate ensure durable construction. Mounting is possible with the bracket provided and the unit is connected via a 50 cm cable with open wire end. This LED marker light complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 directives.

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
