Omschrijving

The Fristom M10MV-150R from the MV-100 serie is an LED marker light suitable for 12-24 V systems and designed for mounting on a variety of vehicles. This model produces red light and combines the functions: rear marker lights and reflector. Thanks to its robust polycarbonate housing and lens, this marker light is resistant to external influences. With dimensions of 100 x 50 x 32.5 mm and an open wire end with 50 cm cable, installation is easy and flexible. The product complies with ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 regulations and is CE-certified. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
