Omschrijving

Designed for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V, this marker light from Fristom s MV-100 serie serves as a combination rear marker light and reflector. Its dimensions of 130 x 32 x 14.5 mm make it suitable for compact mounting on a variety of vehicles. Both the housing and the lens are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, which contributes to the product's durability. Thanks to surface mounting and 50 cm cable with 0.75mm² connector, installation is easy. The construction complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 certifications. The "WATERPROOF" rating supports deployment under varying weather conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
