Omschrijving

The Horpol MV-2100 serie includes compact LED marker lights suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to the combination of side marker light and reflector , this marker light contributes to the visibility and safety of vehicles, especially at the sides. The slim design (134 x 27 x 14.5 mm) makes this MV-2100 serie model suitable for surface mounting on various types of commercial vehicles, semi-trailers and semi-trailers. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to its impact resistance and waterproof features in accordance with IP68. The product is certified to CE, ECE R10 and ECE R91, meeting the relevant standards for electromagnetic compatibility and vehicle lighting. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
