This amber-coloured LED marker light from Horpol s MV-4400 serie is designed for use as a side marker light and reflector. With its compact size of 77.5 x 18.5 x 11mm and surface mounting, it is suitable for various vehicle types, including commercial vehicles and semi-trailers. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to shock and weather resistance. With an operating voltage of 12-24V, this marker light can be used flexibly within various electrical systems. The unit features a 50cm cable with open wire end, simplifying installation. The product meets the requirements of CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R91 and is certified to protection class IP68, making it fully dust- and waterproof. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
