Omschrijving

This LED marker light from the Fristom MV-600 serie is designed for visual marking of vehicles in a variety of environments. The marker light comes in white and has an integrated reflector function. Thanks to surface mounting and the 50 cm long cable with 0.75 mm² connector, installation is easy and flexible. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, contributing to a robust construction. This marker light functions within a voltage range of 12-24 V. With dimensions of 110x75x35 mm, it offers a compact solution suitable for a variety of applications within vehicle lighting. The product meets the certifications CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
