Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-2900 serie includes compact LED marker lights designed for applications on 12-24 V vehicle electronics. This particular model is equipped with white LED lighting and offers an integrated reflector function, increasing visibility and safety. Its slim design and surface-mounting allows installation on a variety of vehicle types. The housing and lens are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and offer durable protection against external influences. The integrated 50 cm cable with open wire end facilitates connection to the electrical system. This LED marker light complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 certifications. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
