Omschrijving

This marker light from the Fristom MV-1200 serie is designed for vehicle visibility and recognition in various applications. It is an LED marker light with a light colour white, suitable for voltage ranges of 12-24 V. Thanks to its dimensions of 125x60x24 mm and surface mounting, it is easy to integrate on a variety of vehicle types. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which makes the product resistant to external influences. The marker light features a reflector function. It is equipped with an open wire end and a 50cm long cable, offering flexibility during installation. This product complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 standards. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
