This white LED marker light from Fristom s MV-100 serie is designed for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. The durable housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, suitable for external mounting. With dimensions of 130 x 32 x 14.5 mm, this marker light is compact and suitable for a variety of applications in transport and logistics. This LED marker light features a 0.75mm² connector with 50 cm cable and is equipped with reflector function. The product complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 certifications. The surface mounting offers flexibility for installation on different vehicle types. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
