The Horpol MB-6002RWA from the MB-6000 serie is an LED side marker light designed for applications requiring clear signalling on the vehicle side. This LED side marker light combines the functions: rear marker light and side marker light. Thanks to its multicolour design, the luminaire offers red, white and amber light all around. The robust rubber housing combined with an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens ensures high resistance to mechanical and weather influences. With a dimensions of 200x179x50 mm and a 50 cm long cable with open wire end, this luminaire is suitable for direct surface mounting on various vehicles. The MB-6002RWA operates on 12-24 V and meets the certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R91. Its IP68 protection rating guarantees full dust and water resistance under long-term conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
