Omschrijving

The Truck-Lite M900 serie was developed for heavy-duty use on trucks and semi-trailers. This multifunctional LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light and reversing light. Its robust polycarbonate housing and lens make it resistant to mechanical and weather influences in demanding environments. Connection is via a 7-PIN AMP connector combined with 5x Superseal connectors, supporting reliable connectivity and easy integration into existing wiring harness solutions. The dimensions of the rear light are 402x131x51 mm and it is designed for vertical mounting. This Truck-Lite rear light is suitable for 12-24V systems and meets IP69K standards for water and dust resistance. In addition, the product is certified according to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R148, ECE-R150 and ADR. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
