Omschrijving

These EU200-serie series LED rear lights from LED Autolamps are designed for use on semi-trailers and semi-trailers. Thanks to the low profile of 25 mm, they are suitable for situations where limited installation space is available. With a polycarbonate housing and acrylic lens , the units are dust- and waterproof to class IP67, and comply with various ECE regulations, including ECE R10, R3, R6, R7, R23 and R38. The LED rear lights combine the functions: rear light, brake light, indicators, fog light and reversing light. Connection is via an open wire end with a cable length of 40 cm. Surface mounting allows easy installation on various vehicle types. Suitable for voltage systems from 12 to 24 V. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
