Omschrijving

The 285-serie of LED rear lights from LED Autolamps are designed for applications on vehicles where compact flush mounting and reliable signal lighting are required. This rear light combines the indicator function with an integrated reflector in accordance with ECE-R7-S3. Thanks to its small dimensions of 285x25x10 mm and slim design, this surface-mounted variant is suitable for applications where space is limited. The housing is made of ABS with a lens made of PMMA, suitable for intensive use in various environments. With an open wire end and 8 cm cable length, installation is easy. Protection to IP67 and certification to CE and ECE R10 ensure that the product is dust- and waterproof and meets the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
