The LED Autolamps 1004-serie has been developed for use as LED side marker lights on commercial vehicles and 12V semi-trailers. This model, the 1004RWM, features red and white lights and is suitable for both 12 V and 24 V voltage ranges. The lighting features an open wire end with 20 cm cable for direct connection. Surface mounting makes installation on various bodies easy. The robust rubber housing combined with the acrylic lens offers protection against external influences. The side marker light is IP67-rated and complies with CE, ECE R10 and ECE R7 approvals. This LED side marker light is equipped with a rear marker light function. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
