This round 145-serie LED rear light from LED Autolamps is designed as a single function rear light with integrated reversing lights. With its retro look and chrome edge, this model is particularly suitable for classic and nostalgic vehicle applications, such as 12V semi-trailers, vintage cars and special vehicles. Surface mounting and a 15 cm cable length with open wire end ensure easy installation. The rear light is compact with dimensions of ø145 x 23 mm and manufactured with a polycarbonate housing and acrylic lens for increased resistance to external influences. The product is suitable for use on vehicles with an on-board 12-24 V system. Its IP67 protection rating and certifications CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R23 confirm its suitability for professional use in a variety of environments. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
