The 12-serie LED rear lights from LED Autolamps are designed as compact solutions for vehicles where limited installation space is available. With dimensions of 131 x 30 x 8mm and a stick-on mounting, they are suitable for integration on commercial vehicles, semi-trailers and work vehicles, among others. These LED rear lights combine the function: reversing lights. In addition, a reflector is integrated for extra visibility. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate for increased impact resistance and durability. Thanks to its IP67 rating, this rear light is resistant to dust and temporary immersion. The open wire connector with 25cm cable ensures easy installation. This model operates within a voltage range of 12-24V and complies with CE, ECE R10 and ECE R38 directives. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
