Omschrijving

This LED rear light from the 140-serie from TRALERT® is designed for applications on vehicles with a 12-24 V electrical system. Thanks to its round shape of ø140 x 100 mm and the use of durable materials such as an ABS housing and a polycarbonate lens, it is suitable for mounting in a variety of conditions. This rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light and indicator. Surface mounting is via slide connectors. The product complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R6 standards and is dust- and waterproof according to protection class IP67. This makes the LED rear light usable in demanding conditions, both on road and off-road. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
