LED LED Autolamps ' 80-serie LED rear light is designed for mounting on commercial vehicles where reliability and visibility are essential. Its construction consists of an impact-resistant ABS housing and an acrylic lens, suitable for outdoor use in challenging conditions. Water- and dust-tight sealing to IP67 ensures operation even in humid or dusty environments. This LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light, indicators and reversing light. It is suitable for use within a voltage range of 12-24 V and features an open wire end with a cable length of 40 cm. Application is via surface mounting. With a dimensions of 278x100x28 mm, it can be easily integrated into existing vehicle systems. This model complies with the CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7, ECE-R6 and ECE-R23 directives. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
