Omschrijving

The ECCO ESG 3812 Ecco serie concerns a surface mounting LED warning light designed for vehicles in various voltage systems between 12-48 V. Thanks to its housing and lens made of polycarbonate, this LED warning light is resistant to wear and tear and suitable for long-term use in demanding working conditions. The warning light meets certifications CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R65 and is protected to IP67, which means the component is dust- and waterproof. With dimensions of 151x53x30 mm, this square model can be used compactly on various vehicles. Mounting is via a surface-mount system and power connection is via an open wire end with a cable length of 18 cm. This LED warning light is ideally suited for applications where good visibility and reliability are required. ECE R65 — the rule behind every warning light.

ECE R65 is the European standard that determines whether a rotating or flashing beacon is road-legal. It defines luminous intensity, flash rate, colour and mechanical endurance. Without an R65 mark, a beacon is not allowed on a public road anywhere inside UNECE territory — and insurers routinely refuse claims on vehicles carrying non-approved warning lights.

ADR — lighting rules for dangerous-goods transport.

ADR is the European agreement governing the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Annex B, Part 9 contains the electrical-installation rules that a lamp on an ADR-rated vehicle must meet. It is stricter than ordinary road-vehicle standards — a lamp fitted to a tanker carrying flammable liquid has to survive electrical and mechanical conditions an ordinary delivery truck never sees.
